How My Client Jess Weimer Went From Struggling Artist to Signed Musician

I wanted to take a minute to recognize and shout from the rooftops how PROUD I am of one of my clients, Jessica Weimer.

When I started working with Jess, I saw the fire. You know the fire...she had “it.” Oozing with talent and passion.

However, she wasn’t working. I could tell that she believed in herself but seemed lost and not sure how to navigate the industry. When she first considered coaching, she flatly told me she couldn’t afford it. I responded that you can’t afford NOT to do coaching. That’s where the coaching really began...I asked her if she feels like she's done all that she knows to do. She said yes. I said if that's the case, then you will most likely be in the exact same boat next year this time. Because you cannot do the same thing and expect to get different results. It never works.

She decided to take the leap of faith to fulfill her dream of being a full-time musician, invested in herself, and WOW, did it pay off. And it's only been a YEAR!!!

I was so excited and blown away (but not surprised!) when she was recently featured as the weekly artist on Chicago Music Guide and an article for Reverbnation. She’s receiving the recognition that she oh so much deserves.

I love what she shared for Reverbnation when asked what excites her most about her future as a SIGNED musician:

“I’m so excited to work with a company that’s invested in my future as an artist. Another Victory has already been incredible—they’ve hit the ground running and are planning to film a couple music videos for me late this month! All of the placement opportunities that this opens up are awesome. Too stoked to be scared.”

She’s done amazing work--not just in her craft but on overcoming the barriers that many performing artists are faced with, and her hard work is opening up new opportunities. And the best part is, she’s too excited about all of the opportunities to let fear get the best of her, and that’s exactly what I want for all of my clients!
