The Cursed How’s Back, Again?

Uncategorized Sep 01, 2021

Hey, my love!  I hope your week is going well.  I’m doing great! I have a favor to ask of you.  I’d love you to hit the ‘reply’ button so that I can hear from you.  I’m dying to know.

Are you:

  • Not into the ‘woo’
  • ‘Woo’ curious
  • All about the Woo (Where are my crystals, sage, and candles?)

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I am all things ‘Woo.’  I’ve been on this journey for a while and want to out myself right now because what’s most personal is most general.  I love all things Universal Laws and manifesting but for so long I got it backward.  There is a saying that I have heard for so long: ‘Stay out of the how’s.’  When I heard it, I was like, ‘Sure, sure, yes I totally get it.’  but then I would find myself falling back into these old patterns of beliefs.  Let me explain.

As a visionary, I have no problems coming up with a million and one fantastic ideas.  Ideas are not my problem.  But where I used to get tripped up is—you guessed it—‘The cursed how’s.’  How can I bring this huge idea to life?  How can I manifest dream clients? How do I get from A to Z?  And that’s where I would psych myself out.  Most times, even before I begin, I would get caught up in the idea of ‘I’m nowhere near that goal.’  ‘I don’t have the money to bring that goal to life.’  ‘I don’t have the people in my life to help me.’  Yadda yadda yadda.

In the 40 Day Prosperity Plan from ‘The Abundance Book’ by John Randolph Price, he says on Day 7,  ‘The Divine Consciousness that I am is forever expressing its true nature of abundance. This is its responsibility, not mine. My only responsibility is to be aware of this Truth. Therefore, I’m confident in letting go and letting God appear as the abundant all-sufficiency in my life and affairs.’

In other words, your job is not to create abundance or to figure out the ‘how.’ That is the universe’s job.  Our job is to be aware of the how because ‘the how’ is abundance, and it’s ever-present and all around.

Maybe you’re saying to yourself, ‘Ummm, Keenah?!?!  Girl, I don’t see nuthin’!’  I get it.  That was me for a long, long time (If I’m candid).

If you envision the desired outcome rather than the process, you allow the universe’s ever-present abundance to flow to you naturally like a river.  Did you catch that? I didn’t say babbling brook—I said river.

Here are my seven steps to creating your big idea without getting into the ‘Cursed How’s.’

  • Decide what you truly desire.
  • Ask the universe for what you desire.
  • Believe you are worthy of what you desire.
  • Direct your will and intent for what you desire.
  • Feel as if it’s already done.
  • Release it.
  • Receive it.

Sounds simple enough, right? It is simple, but in the beginning, it won’t be easy because we’re conditioned to believe that to have what we truly desire, we must work hard and have it all figured out so that we can take action.  That’s why this week’s quote is so powerful.

Trust. Ask. Believe. Receive.

What is the one step that trips you up the most? Hit reply and let me know where you’re feeling stuck.
